Less is more Challenge: citrus

Less is more Challenge: citrus

For  my card I used Distress inks in spiced marmelade, mustard seed and twisted citron.
I sponged these colors onto the cardbase behind the 3 windows. I made those with the Simon Says Stamp tri square die.
The sentiment is also cut from the cardpanel and is also from Simon Says Stamp (painted hello)
The swirls are actually inner bits of the Simon Says Stamp single roses. I had the orange leftover from another card and found the swirl a great graphic design. So I made also a yellow and green one by sponging onto some cardstock and diecutting the roses. I almost went with the roses instead of the swirly bit but I thought these were just the perfect size for the openings, making them peep out here and there.
Few homemade enamel dots scattered around ,one is hiding a boo boo, lol.. otherwise I might not have added them as I think Less is More ;-)
Still they add an element of interest.
I thought I should follow the rainbow order, i think i would have preferred picked raspberry instead of green as in blood grapefruit (that's what we call them anyway, not sure it's the English name)..yellow and green remind me too much of a soccer team...and I hate soccer...love the card though ;-)
