Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Summer

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Summer.

For me Summer is going to the seafront and swimming with the fishes (in a good way ;-) )
this little girl got dressed up as a mermaid and is enjoying the cooling effect of the waves , well maybe that's just me wishing I was her ...lol...
The stamp is from Lili of the Valley (little  mermaid 1) and I colored it with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Sequins as bubbles and sentiment is from Joy Craft.

Less is More challenge #230

Less is More challenge #230.
I've rotated the card and made the two areas (one big and one smaller) on one piece of water colour paper, separate but together ;-)

The image is from Lili of the Valley (Christmas angel, round bauble) and the sentiment is from Avery Elle (let it snow set) i've stamped it with pigment ink.

The colouring is done with Peerless watercolours, stamped with Stazon.
Some mandatory Wink of  Stella on the bauble, ofcourse. Mounted the panel with foam tape.

CAS(E) this sketch! challenge #129

CAS(E) this sketch! challenge #129.

I think I've never been so literal with a sketch before, it's certainly CAS but i wonder if it's a bit too empty?

might have to have a rethink ;-)

I´ve used one of the 11 dies from the Crate paper set called confetti with the special foiling paper I´ve developed and used glittery gold foil from Wow!
the sentiment is from Sizzix happy birthday set

The Friday Mash UP! challenge: #215 it's all about 3

The Friday Mash UP! challenge: #215 it's all about 3.

I've die cut 3 stars  from Nellie Snellen (6 point star) with my special foiling paper and then folied them with Decofoil from Thermoweb and FAb foil from Wow!
the sentiment is from  My favorite thingd (bold statements) and i've stamped it with some blue pigment ink.

Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesdays Challenge: refreshment

Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesdays Challenge: something that shows refreshment.

I chose to use the Lili of the Valley stamp called blowing bubbles, but I masked off the bubbles so I could draw in some droplets as if the cute little elephant is showering itself.

You know like they do for real when they're in need of cooling down or refreshment.

Colored the lot with Distress inks and I used Alleene's paper glaze for the droplets. (it's like glossy accents).

No sentiment as, frankly, I didn't want to detract from the coloring and now it's good for more occasions ;-)

Freshly made sketches challenge #192

Freshly made sketches challenge #192

I must be crazy as this is my 3rd Christmas/winter card this week and I'm just so happy summer has finally started...anyway...

I've diecut 3 snowflakes out of thick white cardstock.
3 because one was too small and things look better in 3 ;-)
the sentiment is from Avery Elle let it snow stampset.
the dies from Marianne design creatables.

Mounted the front panel with some foam tape to a shimmery blue sheet, not glitter, but shimmery non the less, pretty...slightly offset it from the middle because I like how it evens out the balance.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: anything goes with SSS exclusives

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: anything goes with SSS exclusives.

I;ve used the SSS Stencil circle dots
 as "stamp"for the background.
I inked it with Distress inks( picked raspberry, twisted citron and squeezed lemon) and then sprayed it with water and lifted a print onto watercolor paper.

I've used the sentiment from SSS Birthday Balloons,
which is already a semi circle and dotted it around the circles.
Mounted the watercolor panel with SSS foam tape

Was tempted to add some sparkles or sequins, but I think the background is quite busy as is.
Also made a panel first with the little pig and ballon from SSS baby party animals, but i really didn't want to cover this, in my humble opinion, gorgeous panel ;-)

Also I first used the stencil the "proper" way, didn't like it  either, i'm so fussy lol...
I have my eye on this new die for my next order the SSS birthday circle die, it would have been perfect I think for this card in a contrasting color...
