For my card I've used the  Stampendous Balloonfun stamp (HMcp103)
I stamped them with Versafine Onyx black ink onto coldpressed watercolor paper and colored the image with Distress inks.

The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp "it's your birthday" set and I also used Versafine Onyx black ink.

Merry Christmas and all my favourites of 2018

Craftin Desert Divas Delicious Wishes release card #6

Merry Christmas if you're reading this today!

The theme this week for the Craftin Desert Divas designer challenge is: anything glittery.
I'm not sure if you can see it, but I've added loads of glitter with the Shimmer spritz onto the background .

To make the background I've taken the already colored images form the digi release and placed them on an empty panel in Photoshop. printed it and then spritzed it with the shimmer spritz, let it dry.

Meanwhile I colored the image with my alcohol markers to be as sweet as the background colors, but not matchy match.

I printed my sentiment onto the cardbase. I've used the same one for the last three cards,so it's a matching set and I tried to stick to the same colors too.

To attach the glitter panel to the cardbase I've used liquid glue and then mounted my image with foamtape and adhered it on top.
For the scales and fondant I've used a Nuvo Shimmer pen to add more glitter.

Merry & Bright

I meant to do this one for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, stitch it up, but I ran out of time, but this week's theme is Party Time, and Christmas is a time to party as well, right? my New Year's eves are always boring, I stay home for my cats, they're not scared, but I like to be there and not really the party type anyway. It's funny thunder and or fireworks doesn't scare them, but a droplet of water freaks them out..and yet they go out in   a drizzly rain...? weird cats..

And the Male Room Challenge is the colour blue, so I link up another card there.

For my card I cut out a circle from Watercolor paper with a stitched edge die. also cut out the circle from white card and then diecut the village from the circle, so I have a stitched edge on it too.
This village is from Craft Emotions, but any will do. I almost used the Your Next Stamp one, houses on a hill, but I felt it  would cover too much of my blue medallion.

The blue is liquid watercolors from Ecoline, multiple layers and colors to build up the intensity, I think I've used three layers. There's a hint of ombre, but the Village covers most of it ...hehe useless..
I splattered white ink as snow or stars. Mounted the Panel and the village with Foamtape and adhered it to the base.

On the Base I stamped the sentiment from Simon Syas Stamp (Merry Trees) with Memento Paris Dusk, a really dark blue, just to stay with the blue colour theme.

See the links above to take part in the challenges if you're interested.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

the colour blue

That's the new challenge over at the Male Room.

So for my card I pulled out a blue cardstock, cut it to size, prepped it with the embossing tool, then placed all my stamped around  the card, inked them with Versamark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder.

adhered the cardstock to the cardbase with taperunner.
Very simple, and I think masculine, no fuss, no glitter and such.
