Thank you card

The Less is More Challenge this fortnight is: ONE layer and focus on the sentiment.

For my card I used the Impression Obsession E20163 Thank you sentiment. I stamped it on the cardbase with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat set it. Then I grabbed a dotted stencil and a mask stencil, basically a bit of card of plastic with a circle cutout.
I placed it around the sentiment and applied Versamagic Turquoise gem and Summer Sky.
A few enamel dots in matching colors.

And because they are so quick and easy to make I made 4 more in about 15 minutes :-D They're a bit more vibrant than the first one , but then I'm not entering those hehe

AAA Cards Challenge #134: One Corner + Music, with realtime video

This fortnight our challenge is to use One corner and the optional twist is music.
Our Sponsor is Uniko and I've used the All Occasion Sentiments #6.
Uniko has a fab Equalizer stamp, I don't have it, but I think that is "music".

For my card I've used the Crafter's Companion Marker paper, stamped the image from Katzelkraft (Les Pabos 2) with My Favorite Things Hybrid Black ink.
The Sentiment from Uniko I've stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.

My first Idea was to partial stamp Celebrate next to a Katzelkraft robot, to say  ce-le-br-ate..like the Daleks from Dr. Who would say Exterminate...but fun instead of death.

Then I remembered one of these characters was playing the violin, so I thought it to be perfect for the Music twist, together with a punched music note.

I colored the image with Spectrum Illustrator and Copic Markers.

For a chance to win an instock stampset of your choice from Uniko, be sure to play along and link up your card.

Enjoy your day

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Channel is: B&W+ one color, showcasing Avery Elle Products.

For my card I used the Avery Elle set called Beside the sea for the sentiment.

I masked a portion of the cardbase so I could inkblend the blue Distress Oxides, I used: Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China and tumbled glass, all ONE color I think, just different hues hehe.
I then too off the mask at the top so I could position the girl with butterflies so the butterflies  come outside the inked portion. The stamp is from StudioLight (Stampsl355) and I've stamped it with Versafine Onyx black ink.
I've used the same ink to stamp the  Creative expressions Magical Meadow on the  lower part of the inked strip.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Avery Ellle, also with Versafine onyx black ink.
Added a few blue glittery enamel dots and thought it done :-D

Color Changing Chameleon from Your Next Stamp, video

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is to make an interactive card.
The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Typography (play with letters).
Not entirely sure if adding a sentiment is playign with letters, might have to  make another, but for now this is it.

I made a spinning wheel card. instead  of the dies included in the set to make a video, I used the Chameleon shape.
The Chameleon is from Your Next stamp (one in a chameleon), it comes with matching dies, but I don't  have them.

For my wheel I've used a scalloped circle diecut and inkblended Distress inks on them (Candied apple, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, twisted citron, mowed lawn, blueprint sketch, wilted violet  ans picked raspberry).

I stamped the chameleon and sentiment on a panel, the same size as the card base and I've used Versafine Clair Ink for that.
I then cut out the chameleon with a little border and poked a hole in the centre of the  panel.

I also stamped the chameleon with Stazon on acetate and mounted this behinde the opening so the line drawing or stamping is back.

Punched a notch frm the side, so you can actually turn the wheel. I forgot to do this on

the cardbase too, and fixed it later only to cut into my wheel, so don't do that ;-).
A brad keep everything in place and some foamtape add dimension between the wheel and the cardbase, so it turns easier.

I did use a nice purple brad but to make it look like it belongs there, in the middle on my white panel, I added some enamel dots.

I think it's super fun how the Chameleon  changes color, almost real;-)..ha..

You're my favorite human

I 've used this sentiment once with a puppy, But I thought it would also go well with a robot, another critter and these Aliens, of course.

I made it for the Male Room Challenge: love your men.
I don't have a man in my life, but my neighbour girl asked me for a card for her "love interest" hehe she's 8..not sure if they're together yet, didn't ask, but he loved everything Sci-fi, so I thought this to be perfect?

I masked of an area for the space and applied Distress inks in various colors and then splattered with water, white and Silver Distress Spray Stains, heat setting in between.

The images I colored with Spectrum Noir markers and cut them out. They are from Craftin Desert Divas (outer space and Space cadet). The sentiment is from Paper Smooches ( Fun and flirty). I've used Versafine Clair Nocturn ink to stamp it.

Mounted the Aliens with foam tape.
