This month the AAA Birthday Challenge is: not a card.
So I made little treat bags, boxes, I see brown bags or lunch bags ;-)
I don't have a lot of patterned paper, so I went Autumnal and one with Christmas paper as my birthday is a week before the 25th. But remember we're a birthday challenge.
In the Netherlands kids treat their class on their birthdays, so a tag with Happy Birthday seemed weird to me, a place card holder for the table made more sense.
I don't have kids so I don't know how it's done these days.
I've designed my little box around
the Milka Moments, but it fits a lot of things, like the round Christmas chocolate balls or Tony Chocolonely minis.
For it you need two pieces of cardstock, one solid, one patterned as I did or what ever you desire.
I think designer pape might be more expensive than normal coloured card, and Ilike the contrast, so I went fancy on the outside and normal on the inside, you do see the sides of the little basket, so make sure it's nice.
the solid card should measure 4"x3 1/8", score at 3/4inch on all sides.
the patterned paper should measure 81/4 inches x 2 1/2 inches.
score on the long side at: 1/2"- 31/4- 5" 73/4 inches.
score, fold and burnish all score lines.
cut away wedges as shown on the plans and glue the little tabs. I use hot glue.

Wat een leuk idee weer Maaike.
