The the beary best

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is: We're going around in circles.

As the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is"Anything goes, I thought I would add one more.  Sadly no Whimsy stamps this time.

For my card I tried something Laura Bassen showed a few weeks ago on her Youtube Channel.

I already had the big round circle as a stencil and so diecut a few more from nesting dies.

I masked off the bottom half of the circle, then applied the blues first. These are all Distress inks:  Tumbled Glass, Broken

China, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans, Chipped Shapphire.

Then reversed the masking and applied more Distress inks, I used less colors as I felt these go very well together, others not so much ;-) So Cracked Pistachio, then Cracked Pistachio again, Evergreen Bough and again, Lucky Clover and Pined Needles.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Punny Animals, I wanted something modern, not scripty to go with my funky circles. So I stamped also some silhouette animals that went with my sentiment, these are from Marianne Design.

Wool always be friends

The Male Room Challenge is: Landscapes.

So I pulled out the Craftin Desert Divas, Southwest Border dies and cut the elements from colored card.

The sky is made with Distress Oxides and a circular mask (Candied apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard seed and Squeezed Lemonade).

The Alpaca is from Marianne Design (col 1470) and I also made it with colored card.

The Sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas also (Animal Antics) and I stamped it with Versafine Clair ink. Sadly CCD is no longer operational.

White Gel pen in the eyes of the Alpaca, they give us give wool, so hence the sentiment.

AAA Cards Challenge #166: 6th birthday celebration, with video

It's our birthday!  AAA Cards Challenges turns 6! woot.

For my card I used a digi from Beccy's Place and printed it with the sentiment onto Crafter's Companion Neenah paper. Coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Markers.
Adhered the panel onto a cardbase with taperunner.

The hippo has some kind of stitch lines, so it could be a stuffed aimal for a baby card. Then you could colour him any kind of pastel colour, but I went semi realistic.

Recycle

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is: recyle, showcasing SSS own brand.

For my recycling I've used skeleton leaves and garden twine.
I've rubbed some embossing ink on the lower part of the leaves and used similar colored  Wow Embossing powders (Verdigris, Rose gold and  gold sparkle). I've used the lowest setting on my Wow heat gun, just  because I thought those leaves might catch fire really easily, so be warned...my house is still standing, but just saying.

I've stamped the sentimen with Versafine Clair ink onto the cardbase, it's from Simon Says Stamp It's your birthday3x4 set.

cream and white

The Less is More challenge : cream and white got me stumped for a week.

I finally decided on a polarbear for my cream, as they're not white white. on a white background.

It's a ModaScrap stamp (uncovential Xmas) and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things ( Bitty Holiday wishes)

I Stamped with Gina K. Amalgam ink and colored with Alchol markers.
I might go add a black nose after I entered it and maybe a shadow below the Polar bear...we'll see

Born to ride...the lawnmower

For the Male Room Craft Challenge: in the garden.

I've used the Art Impressions set called Born to ride and I just love the man on his  lawnmower.

I stamped the image with Versafine on watercolor paper, sentiment also, and then colored it with Zig Clean Color real brush pens.
I accidentaly colored the mower dark pink, I thought it was dark red in the wrong light...Anyway I think he would like it anyway lol.
Adhered the panel to a cardbase with tape runner.

Christmas Craft Creations, May Challenge: use a diecut, with video

Welcome back for the May Challenge at Christmas Craft Senstations: Use a diecut.

For my card I used a die from Kippers Hobby (20097) and diecut is 4 times out of white cardstock, once from silvery glittered cardstock and once from a mica sheet to  make a mask/stencil, the same size. I didn't have this particular size made and you could do it from masking paper or cardstock, but this way I can use it more often.

I inkblended Distress oxides: tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans through the mask and then splattered it with white paint.

Then I added the glitter card on top of the white ones with liquid glue (Ranger collage medium) and adhered it to the cardbase.

Stamped the sentiment from My Favorite Things'Bitty holiday wishes with Versafine Onyx black ink.
Added three rhinestones and that's my card finished.

Gumballs

Gumballs or soapbubbles, what do you think?

I used 6 different stencils with  circles, so they would layer and I would get my bubbles, kind of randomly, but also not. I wanted the make multi coloured bubbles first, but I chose togo for two coloured gumballs  as it could be for a boy.

It's for the Male Room Craft Challenge: Sentiment in focus, so I wanted them there, but as light as possible. I've used a multitude of Distress inks and finger daubers.
Then I stamped the sentiment from Woodware's Hello set with Versafine Clair ink. Nice and black to help is stay in the foreground.
White gel pen to help the gumballs shine.

Ostriches have wings, they don't fly really, but have wings lol.

I've used the Stamping Bella set called Olivia and the Ostrich. I've stamped it with Gina K Amalgam ink and coloured it with alcohol markers.

I even used some matching patterned paper to line the cardbase as I felt I need to crop the image panel a little.
