The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is: make your own background.
Showcasing Brutus Monroe, but I only ave one stampset , so I used Clearly Besotted.
It just so happens to fit the challenge.
I've made a stencil/mask with a hexagon die and inkblended my background with Distress inks in an ombre like style so the background is not all flat like.
The bees are from Clearly Besotted (best balloons) and Simon Says Stamp sells this brand.
I mounted the bees with foamtape.
The Sentiment is from Clearly Besotted also (says is all again) and I stamped it with Versafine ink.
I stamped the bees with Gina K amalgam ink and colored them with alcohol markers, had the Scan N cut cut them out.

I'm honoured to report that I was asked to be a Design Team member for the Create A smile Challenge blog, for the next 6 months.
For the first challenge: a moodboard, I've used the Surfer Pingu ,a freebie you can find on the challenge blog to download.
I have chosen colours, and stripes and the dots (although blue) from the moodboard.
I've coloured the image with alcohol markers and a white paint pen. the bubbles or seafoam were made by punching little circles in different sizes from different blue cardstock and silver glitter for some shine.
for the card I diecut a big round circle from blue card and then placed the image on top,
then arranged all the bubbles either flush or with foamtape.
I hope you will play along with us you could win a €25 giftcard to the shop.

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is: Shake it up.
I made a shaker with the Stamp Market Hi die and diecut it from a panel. It barely fits on European size cards, but I made it work ;-).
Stamped the sentiment from Woodware Hello and then traced the opening onto another panel, so I knew where to apply my Distress inks rainbow (Candied apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn, Marmaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet).
I then attached acetate behind the opening and built up the shaker portion with foamtape. As I wanted to use these tiny little iridescent flowers I only used one layer of
foamtape.Closed the shaker with my rainbow panel and then attached it toa cardbase with double sided adhesive tape.

The new Christmas Craft Creation Challenge is: Use ribbon or twine.
For my card I've used a star shaped die from Nellie Snellen (MFD050) one cuts the holes and another the shape. I appreciate you might not have such a die, but I've used a pokey tool inthe past as well.
For the sentiment I've used Clearly Besotted Laugh out loud. And for my "tinsel" golden thread in a string art kind of way.
Behind the start shaped window I've applied Distress Oxides Candied Apple, directly on the cardbase..
Mounted the panel with foamtap and adhered it onto the cardbase.

The newest Clearly Besotted release is all about Valentine.
Now I don't send out Valentine cards, but this set has cats, so seemed mandatory ;-)
It's Clearly Besotted Purrfect Valentine and the Sentiment is also Clearly Besotted Laugh Out Loud Love.
Simon Says Stamp carries them and I thought they would be perfect for the new and or unused challenges at the Simon Says Stamp Monday and Wednesday Challenges. I may or may not have entered a few this week ;-)
I've stamped the cats with Gina K amalgam ink and colored them with Alcohol markers from Graph it. cut them out.
I made a stencil with heart shaped nesting dies and applied Distress inks through it (Candied apple, Mustard Seed, Picked raspberry and Wilted violet).
Stamped and messed up the sentiment, so I layered another on top, mounted that with foamtape and the cats with two layers of foamtape, adhered them to the cardbase.

Welcome back to another year of AAA Cards Challenges every other week.
This fortnight it's : Up to 1.3 and Summer in January.
For my card I've used an old stamp from A Create a Smile kit, called Frosty fun.I think it's a snowman building a snowfort, but I turned it into a beach scene with sand castle.Shame he's wearing a winter sweater, but hey he might get sunburn if not ;-)....Anyway this is my take on Summer in January, you might have better ideas, so play along.
I've stamped the image and sentiment with Gina K ink and coloured it with Alcohol markers.
Adhered the panel to a cardbase with tape runner.

And they're having a DT call too, so go check them out if you fancy a spot. I've added DT behind my name, so fingers crossed.
I've used a Mo's Digital Pencil digi for my card. Although these pigs are the obligatory pink ones, I think they're attitude qualifies for a male card. Also I didn't want to confuse people with spotted or brown ones, but I've used two kinds of pink and a muddy field.
Coloured the image with watercolours from Talens Ecoline and set it with a fixative spray.
Mounted the panel with foamtape.

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to use a new or unused product.
I've used the Avery Elle mini set Buns out for my card. I got it in after the Summer and hadn't used it yet, waiting patiently for the next Summer ;-). But the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is a good excuse.
I've stamped the image on Copic safe paper, cut it out with the Scan N Cut and then colored it with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.
For the background I inkblended waves with Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink. also inkblended a little strip, so I could tuck the image in the water.
The sentiment is from the same set and I've
stamped it with Versafine ink.

I'm honoured to say I was chosen to be join the AAA Birthday Challenge blog Design Team.
AAA Birthday Challenges is a once a month challenge blog for Birthday Cards or projects only.
And we all need birthday cards all the time don't we?
The January theme is: a stencilled background.
For my card I used a circle stencil and a mountain silhouette from Clearly Besotted, but as I needed both sides I traced the mountains on to a bit of printer paper and cut it out. I've also made my own snow capped mountains by masking the tops off with sticky notes. See the video, it's easier.
As January is the month of the Capricorn, I thought Italian alps would be nice as it's one of their habitats.
I've used digis from Craftin Desert Divas, sadly they're no longer in business, I've
coloured the images with alcohol markers.
For the sentiment I've used the Art Impressions Old Goat set, I could have used an image from that set too, but decided on this sentiment after I've chosen the Capricorn.
Mounted the goat with foamtape and adhered the boy flush to the cardbase.

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is: Celebrate.
The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is: Sparkle and Shine, showcasing Whimsy Stamps.
I thought a birthday is worth celebrating and so I've used the Whimsy Stamp Create Magic for the Wizard and sentiment. Stamped the wizard on Copic safe paper and coloured it with Copics and other alcohol markers and then cut them out.
For the background I tried to make a galaxy with watercolors and Shimmer Spritz sparkle for the shine.
I've added Nuvo Shimmer pen onto the stars on the Wizard too.
I've stamped the sentiment with
Versafine ink.
Mounted the galaxy with foamtape and placed it on the cardbase.Cut off the overhang.
Mounted the wizard with foamtape too and placed him a little on top. I meant to place him more in front of the galaxy "window", so I did fill in the gap above his head with dark blue to make him blend in better, but decided against it I guess because I didn't want to cover my galaxy that much ;-).
