AAA Colourful Challenge #32

Hello, this month we have a fun colour  challenge, I saw cacti with their bright flowers. 

I've used the Find it Trading set BBD10039 and cut it from coloured cardstock. I made the lime green one with Distress  inks Twisted Citron.

The sentiment is from Studio Light (NL Gefeliciteerd), I used a  bit of Twisted citron on the card base to achor the pots, not sur eyou can see it as I covered 99% of that ...that was useful haha.

AAA Card Challenge #323: M is for....

 

Moose! and my moose is from Gummiapan, I diecut him 3 times to give him some weight.

I was clever enough to use double sided sticky tape on the back of the cardstock, or those skinny legs would have been impossible to stick down.

for my background I just thought of Moon!  oh man..I didn't like my purple circle at first, walked away, came back and I thought oh that's ok.

I made it with Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire, Villainous Poison, Wilted VIolet and Dusty Concord for the trees through a Whimsy Stamps Stencil (Winter Wonderland). Splattered with water and Lawn Fawn Liquid Star Dust.

Now excuse me while I go make one with a (yellow) moon.

So 2 cards and completely different look, same circle mask, same tree stencil, same diecut (one layer this time) but Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed and Black Soot Distress inks, same liquid Startdust, same sentiment set, but different phrase.

AAA Birthday Cards Challenge #89

Hello, this month we want you to use patterned paper.

I only have cardstock I use for my gift boxes, so I rummaged through my pile and found this pretty polka dot like paper (Craft Sensation Christmas pack), I cut one card panel and the letters from the dotted paper, then from a solid cardtock I cut the shadow layer, I went for a slightly darker tone, I had one matching the pink dots, but I thought it needed the darker to contrast.

It's from My Favorite Things (Birthday Vibes dienamics) and I like how it looks like I cut the letters from the shadow layer  and the cardbase is shining through. I had added double sided tape on the back of the letters so adhering them to the shadow layer is as easy as sticking stickers down,

Mounted the shadow layer with foamtape.
