CAS(E) this sketch!: 111

Clean and simple.
I've changed the orientation.
Meant to put the stripe in the middle, but it worked out slightly different...lol.
Used only one Distress ink (picked raspberry) for the stripe, sentiment and little shading.
The sentiment is from Kaisercraft's blue bay stampset.

Less is more challenge: wings

For this week's challenge : wings,  I stamped a bee from Hot off the press mini stampset Bee happy. The sentiment is also from the set. Both stamped with black Staz-on.
For a focal point I masked off a circle just big enough and sponged it in with Distress inks (cracked pistachio, shabby shutters and evergreen bough) to mimic a grassy meadow where the Bee is flying over.
I stamped the bee on watercolor paper also, with Staz-on and then used Peerless watercolors to color it in.
Cut it out and stuck it on the "meadow"

The Sentiment and the heart are from Technique Tuesday : say it- Love you stampset.
Colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers.
Filled in the heart with glossy accents to make a sort of embellishment on this one layer card

Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: a piece of Paradise

For this week's challenge I created a tropical beach with blossoming flowers, my kind of Paradise...

I first created the background with a mix of watercolors from Distress re-inkers to Peerless watercolors because they are more vibrant. The Distress, which I love don't get me wrong, always tend a bit to the grey, which is how they were intended.

On the left the white Ranger watercolor cardstock poses as a sandy white beach.

In the foreground a branch with blossoms, also Distress inks.
these are from the Cherry blossom tree stamp set by Joy Craft, the sentiment is also from this stampset. I've sprayed the blossoms before stamping with a mini mister with water to give it the watercolored look.

added rhinestones to the center of some flowers for a bit of sparkle.
the Watercolor panel is raised with 3M foamtape on Neenah solar white cardstock.

Simon says stamp Monday challenge: red and pink

For this week's Monday challenge (red and pink) I've made a shaker card.
Red card stock with Technique Tuesday stamp series "say it" Love.
Die cut is from Amy Design classic Christmas collection ADD 10018 Star filled Heart.
Just because it says Christmas, doesn't mean it's only for Christmas ....
I've die cut red and pink card stock to make more stars.
Used Sharpie white marker for the dash lines and Staz-on black ink for the sentiment.

Lawnscaping challenge #99: Clean and simple

This time the challenge from Lawnscaping is a Clean and simple card.
their explanation: Clean and Simple is typically defined as keeping the white space prominent as you create. Meaning, keep it clean of embellishments and color so that focal point of your shine just pops against the solid background!!!!!

I used Lawn Fawn Hedgehugs stamp set and only part of the sentiment included.
I replaced "hedgehugs" with the Lawn Fawn Scripty love die cut.
I water colored with Distress inks and used clear Wink of Stella on the Love die cut.

I think it's CAS ;-)

woot, I got the Honorable Gnome badge for my card, so happy! thank you Lawnscaping team
