Now I had just bought this digi because I thought mice are small and some think cute, then doubt crept in and I had to ask our Admin if it was ok. I think mice are cute, my cats think they're yummy ;-)
It's a digi from Mo Manning digital pencil and it's called Merry Mousemas, but I thought it could be singing Happy Birthday instead of caroling.
I printed and colored the digi and used Spectrum Noir markers and a white gel pen, let the scan n cut cut it out and adhered foamtape to the back, set it aside.
For the card base I thought the Carlijn Design Snowglobe dieset would make the perfect mouse hole,
I traced the opening onto the cardbase and applied Distress inks: Wilted Violet and Uncharted Mariner and splattered with water.
The sentiment is printed on the panel and I adhered it to the cardbase , then the mouse on top.
The background though I felt was more bold than dainty and I meant to redo the card. Now I spotted this digi or clipart set on Etsy and I bought it for this purpose.
It has grey shading, but after compisong the front in Photoshop I printed it on Copic safe paper and coloured in the fur, nose and ears with Ohuhu Markers, nothing major, but a nice hint of colour. cut is 1cm smaller than the cardbase and adhered it with tape runner.
the digi set has many adorabel mice and are from Mountain Laser Design on Etsy
I look forward to your makes, you can enter them here.
