Feestje means, party, like a kids party, not a party of lawyers or something ;-)
I made it for the Male Room Challenge: anything goes and do not use designer paper...as if..hehe
I made a balloon stencil by diecutting a circle from acetate and then cutting out the "knot" bit by hand.
I've used Distress inks for the balloons and black splatters: black soot, worn lipstick, wilted violet, mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio and mustard seed.
I've also added gold splatters with the Nuvo Shimmer pen Midas Gold.
the Feestje is from Karin Joan/Marianne Design KJ1728 and I've diecut it from black card
with double sided adhesive behind it, also Marianne design lr0014.
There's also a feestje stamp in the set, but it's rather new (came out today) and I didn't want to ruin my balloons with a fresh stamp, because it's 11pm and I didn't feel like cleaning it and conditioning it ;-)

oh, Maaike, I love these balloons. They look so transparent! I love the colors, the placement, everything about it. Balloons are such a festive item -- my mother owned a balloon shop years ago so balloons are special to me.
