AAA Colourful #25

Hello this month I saw old fashioned test screen from TV in I dunno  when they stopped, but if you know you know, once the programming stopped you'd get a special screen, or with technical difficulties.

So my card is a rendering of one of those screens, they might have been different per country, I don't know.

I diecut strips of coloured cardstock  twice for each colour.then adehered them to the cardbase. ealving a little border. a strip of black card in the middle.

With my Brother label printer I made the text, it's whie lettering on transparent tape. it's a bit shiny, because of the flash I need to use, but looks better in real life.

I look forward to your card, you can enter it here.

AAA Card Challaenge #308: Sketch Challenge

Hello, this fortnight we have a sketch for you.
For my card I diecut all sorts of shapes from different Avec Creative (Love to Craft) dies, these we could buy at Action but I haven't seen any in a while.
Anyway you can use stamps, paper, washi tape i think those strips would be excellent in Washi or scraps of patterned paper...
For my 2 pillars I diecut the lantern twice, the  scooter is from the same set, the portion of the road is another.
The sentiment is from Whismy Stamps: Simple Sentiment Strips and I stamped it in Versafine Morning Mist to match with the road. Added som shimmer from a Nuvo pen on the lights and then splattered a bit on the cardbase.

I look forward to your takes on the card, you can enter them here.

AAA Birthday Challenge #82

Hello this month we want you to make a slimline card.

For mine I went with a night scene. Train to Busan springs to mind  though ;-) You might have seen that movie....

Anyway...

I started by cutting an A4 at 21 cm, making it square, then folding it in half for my slimline. the bit left over I  cut slightly smaller to make a nice border on the panel.

On the panel I inkblended Distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon,  Blueprint Sketch, Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire. Splattered with water and silver metallic paint.

The scene is  made with diecuts from the Amy Design set ADD10129 and  pfff all those windows..I started with 2 city scapes, but I couldn't  do another. I lined the black with yellow for lights, seems almost everyone is home... same for the train, I diecut another wagon to make it longer for the slimline. The bridge is also two sets in grey. Gave the train a nice red colour, just to make it pop.

Adhered everything to the cardbase and stamped the sentiment, it's from Clearly Besotted (Tiny Type).

I look forward to your makes, you can enter them here.

AAA Card Challenge #307 Color Challenge

Hello, this fortnight we have a color challenge for you again.

Use at least 3 of 4, fur, skin and neutrals such as black or white, gold and silver are fine; and the colors don't have to be an exact match, just try your best.

For my stamping I've used Memento inks: New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves and Nautical blue

The brush stroke is a stamp from Marianne Design (Eline's Brush  EC0161 and the twig is also Marianne design (cs1143 Mistletoe), I stamped that on top with Versafine. I didn't realise it was mistletoe until I wrote down the supplies, I thought it was an Olive branch, so  you know it's versatile.

The sentiment is Whismy Stamps Simple Sentiment and I cut it out with the coordinating dies, then mounted it with foamtape.

I look forward to your takes on the card, you can enter them here.
