I used dry embossing, meaning pressing something into the cardbase by using and embossing folder, or as I did a set of nesting dies.
The dies are from Marianne design (basic shape dies cr1351) and I stuck them together first, so the individual dies wouldn't move on me in the machine, then I taped it in place on the card and passed it through my bigshot. I use a piece of silicone bakingmat as my embossing mat, I have a video on that included.
I then stamped the sentiment from a Wibra stampset with Versafine black onyx ink. Wibra is a chain of stores in the Netherlands and some of the Benelux I think, not sure, but they have a little crafts section, where once in a while I find a few gems.
The little girls dress is also I diecut, I bought it off a Facebook sales group and all I could find is the brand: Choose joy, but there are many similare products across the industry of the supplies I used.
The patterned paper is from Crafter's Companion little angel collection.
I used a bit of foamtape to pop the dress up.

ReplyDeleteSuch a great way to use embossing. I love the interest the hearts give to the card and the little image in the middle just brings it all together. Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
