Made in minutes

I've combined two challenges for this card.

The AAA Cards Facebook group Weekend Workout:  Made in minutes + Christmas.

And the Simon Says Stamp
Wednesday Challenge: anything goes, showcasing Stampendous.

So for my card I've used the biggest snowflake  from the Intricate Snowflakes set by Stampendous.

I've stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Wow embossing powder Under the Sea..

Nice glittery frost like colour I thought.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Tiny Type set and I've used Versafine ink for that.

Just Arrived

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is: Inpsired by a movie, in my case an animated movie: Storks.

In the Movie the Storks moved on from Babies and are now package delivery birds, but one last baby has to be delivered and that's a cute little girl. I needed a boy card though, so ignore that ;-).

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is: Anything goes.

I stamped my image and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps (Hedgie  Love) with Versafine ink and colored it with watercolors. Matted it and adhered it to the cardbase with

taperunner.

AAA Cards Challenge #177: Maxi White Space + Stars

This fortnight the AAA Cards Challenge, is: Maxi white space with the option to use stars.

Our sponsor is Uniko and I've used the Simply Said Block Christmas set with Versafine Claire ink.

If you look closely there's little stars in between the words. This is my third version. I've used red stars on the first, didn't like it, the second was off centre and had a smudge.
This one's perfect:-D
And I'd say maxi white space for sure, although I think our team member Asa might go even smaller ;-)

Autumn Birthday

The Less is More Challenge is fortnight is: Different type of foliage..

For my card I used four, they're from the Marianne Design set TC0876 and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things (Bitty Birthday wishes).

I started my card by masking of an area on the carbase, then strips and applied Distress inks in allsorts of brown for that autumnal, but also masculine feel.

Then I peeled off the mask, stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with Wow Metallic regular Brass. Masked the stripey bit off again and stamped the leaves going in  the area, they're much bigger but Iwanted them contained. Also stamped it with Versamakr and heat embossed it with Wow brass.

Christmas Craft Creation - October theme: Christmas Music, with video

For the Christmas Craft Creation October theme: Christmas Mucis, I've printed the CC Designs Carolers digistamp.

I've colored it with Copics, Triblend and Spectrum Noir markers, then added it to a cardbase with tape runner.

Can't say any more than that ;-) easy peasy, but cute card.

AAA Cards Challenge #176 One Corner + cosy, with video

This fortnight the AAA Cards Challenge is:  One Corner + Cosy as the optional twist.

Our sponsor is Stamplorations.

I  used the Clearly Besotted  Knitted with love and Laugh out loud Christmas.

The sentiment says "...put on that ugly sweater...", now my bear didn't have one, so I added a few lines to give him one. I think the coral red/pink is very ugly, the scarf and hat are quite taste ful, but that sweater...lol..anyway the sentiment makes sense now. I could have used another bear from the set, but I didn't fancy the challenge with all those small small small details.

Also the bear looks  nicely tucked into the corner with the scarf leading your eye into the panel and onto the sentiment.

I stamped image and sentiment with Gina K Amalgam ink and coloured  with my alcohol markers.

Autumn Birthday

After my goof up on Wednesday with the Male Room Challenge, I combined  the Less is More with the Male Room challenge.

The Less is More is a CASe challenge, the Male Room is being inspired by an Autumn Quote.

For my card I've used the My Favorite Things Snowdrift dies to cut the kraft panel, like the  inpsiration card from Sharon. applied Distress inks on the cardpanel for that autumn feel.  My fox is from a dieset from  Love 2 craft and the Mushrooms and treestump are from Elizabeth Craft Designs (Forest Accessories)

Sentiment from My Favorite Things Bitty Birthday Whishes and I stamped it on white

card with Versafine Clair ink and then cut it to size and mounted it with foamtape.

A party without cake

Theres an Anything Goes challenge at the Mo's Digital Pencil blogspot.

For my card I used a quote from Julia Child: a party without cake is just a meeting.

I feel that's correct ;-)

I've used a digi from Mo's digital pencil ( Happy Purrfday) and coloured it as my cats. My cats don't like cake, but I do! So the best of both worlds.

Cut the panel 1cm smaller all around and mounted it to a carbase

Libra month

The AAA Birthday Challenge this month is a photo inspiration.

I've used many of the colours, or so I'd like to think.

October is the month of the Libra and I've used oranges, red, yellow purples to match the photo.

The image was from Craftin Desert Divas, sadly they're closed, the sentiment is from My Favorite Things (Old Friends).

I've coloured the image with Copics and added the dots with a gelpen, then mounted it with foamtape.

The sentiment is stamped with Versafine ink. The Bacground is Distress inks wilted violet, candied apple and spiced marmalade, through a diy stencil.

Hoppy Christmas

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is : Anythign goes, showcasing Lawn Fawn. I am in full Christmas mode and I didn't feel like any of my  "normal"Lawn Fawn  would go, but then I came across this Simon Says Stamp Stamptember set : Snow Bunnies.

I stamped them with Gina K amalgam ink and colored them with Alcohol markers, cut them out.

There;s also a lonely gift on the card, that's a left over from a card with My Favorite Things I made earlier.

So was the dark sparkly sky. It's watercolored and then spritzed with Shimmer spray Sparkle. Only had this stripleft, but Ithought it's perfect for my scene. the snow banks are cut from glitter cardstock and adhered to the card with foamtape for I could create depth and tuck in the little critters.

At this point I didn't feel there was any space left for my sentiment, except in my beautiful sparkle sky, so I chose against it.

Might have bunnis, but it's def not an Easter card ;-)
