Hello, this fortnight we have a sketch again.
For y card I intended to inkblend the shapes (squares) or stamp them, but then I remembered I had the SImon Says Stamp Tri Square die and I thought that was perfect. Of course they don't have to be square shapes, but hey, I like a sketch.
I've diecut it from a cardpanel and traced the openings onto the cardbase and applied Distress inks: Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac.
Stamped the panel with Simon Says Stamp: Tiny words Christmas in Versafine Morning Mist. I thought the grey was better than black.
the Snowflakes are called Snow Crystals from Craft Emotions and I stuck them on the back of the windows, then added foamtape to the back and mounted it to the cardpanel.

Lovely colours and so CAS. I have this die too and never guessed until now that the snowflakes weren't part of the die, they look like they are looking at it.
ReplyDeletethank you, it looks completely different with or without snowflakes, but I prefer this version ;-) I also have the tri circle one but this one matched the sketched kinda perfectly
DeletePerfect card for the sketch!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. I love that you used foam tape to give your card dimension. The background is so pretty.
