Hoppy Christmas

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is : Anythign goes, showcasing Lawn Fawn. I am in full Christmas mode and I didn't feel like any of my  "normal"Lawn Fawn  would go, but then I came across this Simon Says Stamp Stamptember set : Snow Bunnies.

I stamped them with Gina K amalgam ink and colored them with Alcohol markers, cut them out.

There;s also a lonely gift on the card, that's a left over from a card with My Favorite Things I made earlier.

So was the dark sparkly sky. It's watercolored and then spritzed with Shimmer spray Sparkle. Only had this stripleft, but Ithought it's perfect for my scene. the snow banks are cut from glitter cardstock and adhered to the card with foamtape for I could create depth and tuck in the little critters.

At this point I didn't feel there was any space left for my sentiment, except in my beautiful sparkle sky, so I chose against it.

Might have bunnis, but it's def not an Easter card ;-)

AAA Cards Challenge #175 : One Layer + coffee

This fortnight it's the dreaded ONE layer card, plus the option to use something coffee.

It's Michelle's choice.

I've used the Katzelkraft stamps (Les Pingouins), And I stamped it with Gina K amalgam ink. the sentiment is from Joy Crafts (6410/0469) and I stamped that with Versafine Clair ink.

I chose the penguin as it really doesn't need colouring and it's holding a cup of something warm, I see coffee ;-). But I added some colour anyway with my markers, fully realizing it might seep through the card base to the inside. But I didn't want to leave it all B&W.
The shading under the penguin is so faint, I don't think it shows up on the photo.

For more information, or to play along the AAA Cards Challenge, see this.

As I thought it would fit the Cheers challenge at Less is More I shall enter it there too, there's a dt card that uses coffee, I don't have many if any drinking related stamps.

For the Less is More Challenge, see this.
The Time Out Challenge is also about coffee, so see this if you're interested.

Snot fun

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is: Animal Antics, showcasing Doodlebug designs.

For my card I stamped a rainbow of pill pots from the Doodlebug set called Pill Better, I've used Memento inks and a little mask to stagger them, directly on the cardbase.

The sentiment is from the same set and I've stamped it with Versafine Clair ink.

The critter is from Whimsy Stamps' set called Get well. I stamped it with Gina K Amalgam ink,cut itout and then colored with with alcohol markers. Mounted the image with foamtape and adhered in on top of the cardbase.

Robot Chat

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is: Steampunk.

For my card I used the Robot Chat from Katzelkraft, colored it with alcohol markers and cut it out with the Scan n Cut.

The Background is Distress inks through a diy stencil from a die ( Candied apple, Carved pumpkin, Squeezed lemonade, Twisted citron, Mowed lawn, Mermaid lagoon, Chipped sapphier, Wilted violet and Picked raspberry)

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Balloons and I've stamped it with Versafine Clair ink.

Mounted the cat with foamtape and adhered him  on top. I went for  green as I thought it might be copper, like statues.

Nuvo Shimmer pen, Midas gold on the light bulbs, Zig gel pen for the shine.
