Lawnscaping Challenge: watercolors sponsored by Ellen Hutson

Lawnscaping Challenge: watercolors...
I've used my new favorite Distress color (mermaid lagoon) together with a few others like  chipped sapphire to make the space background.
I've used the Distress inks as my watercolors for the whole card. The splatters are Distress stain sprays (mermaid lagoon, picket fence and brushed pewter)
The sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp die (small hello), kept it white, so it would pop. I made a sticker out of it, but first sticking some double sided adhesive on the back of the cardstock and then die cutting it.
The planets are just circle diecuts and the "aliens" are from the Lawn Fawn stampset:  Monster mash.
