Never let go of your ghouls

hehe..already smiling...
The Craftin Desert Diva Designer challenge is: smiles across the miles.

I like punny sentiments, usually they're the corny ones that make me giggle, and I so hope the recipients do too.

For my card I used the Craftin Desert Diva Stitches digi, it also comes with a tombstone, but as I diecut the Harvest border with the graveyard, I thought that was enough to set the scene. I cut it from black cardstock.
I made and printed the sentiment on a cardpanel, then chopped it, mounted it with foamtape and attached the Harvest border, then mounted it again with foamtape.

I traced the horizon/hillside line on the cardbase and applies Distress inks, masking off the full moon, then later using the negative of the mask to safeguard the sky whilst I was inking the moon.

I printed my little guy on alcohol markers paper and colored him with alcohol markers, I used both Spectrum Noir and Spectrum Illustrator for this on Crafter's Companion marker paper, then cut him out. To attached him, I used liquid glue on the lower half of his body and foamtape to support his head, with the height difference I needed two layers. Then added dots of white gelpen to his eyes. I know he's dead, but this made him more lively...less scary I suppose.
