The Less is More Challenge this fortnight is: metallics.
For my card I diecut the circle Winter Wonderland from Cut-ies from a card panel.
Traced the circle onto the cardbase and aplied Distress Oxides: Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire.
I left it as is, no splattering as I thought it would be too busy, too much noise and the Deer wouldn't stand out.
The diecut I have smeared with Versamark and heat embossed with Papermania Superfine silver powder, three layers, would have stopped at tow, but I left a thumbprint...urgh.
Applied tape runner on the cardpanel and adhered it to the cardbase.
Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Clair ink, it's and older one from Your Next stamp (Holiday reindeer, but it works fine ;-)
Applied mini dots of liquid glue on the back of my wonderland and put it back in the circle.

Mooi weer Maaike. Goed weekend, groetjes Ankie

ReplyDeleteMaaike your metallics really make your festive woodland scene shine - so thick and glossy! Beautiful blending of your inked sky too. Perfectly LIM!
