AAA Colourful Challenge #9

Hello it's the month of Halloween, I'm sure, you  could see something Halloween like in our colours this  month, but I've flipped the game badge upside sown as, to me, it could be a night sky, maybe some sand dunes and my card is inspired by  Joseph and Maria making their way to Bethlehem, guided by the star.

For the card I've used Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon, Seedless Preserves,  Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade.

Instead of curved lines, I went with ripped strips of masking paper, so I would still get the layered look, a bit of the white in between it  could be a night sky or landscape. but as I splattered with water, white and gold paint, it might be more like a sky.

The sentiment is from  My Favorite Things (Bitty Holiday Wishes and the image is from Nellie's Choice (CSIL002) and I stamped both with Versafine black ink.

I then took a gold marker to make the Star.

I am curious to see what you come up with, so play along and enter your card here.

  1. Wow! Love this. What a fabulous take on that colour palette. I admit, it had me a bit stumped and I rather messed it up :o(
