I've used Distress inks and spray stains as my medium of choice.
For my card I inkblended Distress inks: Villainous Poison, Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass on my card base. I thought the purple gradient was a bit different and I colored my Dragon to match.
The image is a Whimsy Stamps Digi from the Dustin Pike line: Dudley Stuck.
The sentiment is also Whimsy Stamps: Simple Sentiment Strips Holiday and the landscape is the Mountain Majesty dieset, also Whimsy. I diecut it twice so I could place another house to the left of Dudley as he was covering the other one and I thought a street light needed houses not just trees, maybe it's me though ;-)
I splattered the inkblended sky with water, white paint and gold, silver paint (Distress spray stains). Glued the landscape on top and mounted Dudley with foamtape. I cut off the bottom as I printed the image a bit bigger, still sticking out at the top, but I like that actually.
