Some bunny is on the way

I'd like to enter this card into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: make your own background with Darkroom stamps (I don't have)
And the Lawnscaping Challenge: color splash.

I did take a peek at the Darkroom items, as some of my stash is second hand and doesn't come with the packaging or labels...but alas, I found they have great stamps though..my favorite would be the quote saying: "I didn't know the purchase of one tiny rubber stamp would lead to this" or words to that extend...It  made me giggle, so funny....Sometimes I feel sad as I can't buy many supplies and have to be very selective, it's unfair really ;-)

Anyway for my card I made a background by swiping Distress mini inkpads onto the cardbase (tumbled glass and broken china).

Then I splattered picket fence and mermaid lagoon Distress spray stains for the splattered effect.
I stamped the little bunnies from Lawn Fawn (hello baby) with Memento and colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. I chose to make them white to keep colors down to black, white and blue, to fit the LawnScaping challenge, although I have them a little shading with light gray, I hope that's ok, also gave them rosey cheeks and ears.
I cut the out and stuck a double layer of foamtape on their backs to adhere them onto the card.
Scattered blue, white and clear (Darice) sequins around the card.

  4. What an adorable card you've created! Yet it is also very sophisticated and chic. Those horizontal stripes look amazing! I would've chickened out with such a bold background, but you've shown me just how elegant those big chunky stripes can be. You've done a masterful job on this card and I'm so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
