Over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge they're celebrating their 7th anniversary or birthday if you like.
The theme this week is : Happy birthday and to use Simon Says Stamp products.
For my card I used the birthday cicrle die from SSS and the baby party animals also from SSS.
For this card I'm revisiting a card I made a long time ago with Lawn Fawn monsters. I now used the SSS critters and their sentiment. Also ommited the rhinestones I used on my first card as I thought the little hearts are embellishment enough.
I started by making a rainbow panel with watercolors on watercolor paper. Let it dry and fixed it with fixative spray.
I forgot to put double sided adhesive on the back prior to cutting so I stuck it down with multi medium matte from Ranger, that was quite the challenge, with this dainty diecut.
I used a circle diecut to cut out the window.
I traced the window onto Solar neenah white and stamped the little pary animals with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers
was thinking to color the background, but I left it white to make the animals the focal point.
raised the window panel with foamtape attached the animal panel and then stuck it onto a cardbase.
I have two more card in my head, to enter this week, but for now:
Happy birthday SSS Wednesday Challenge, I love you and your challenges!!!!
