Or rather the stitched triple peekaboo windows dynamics from My Favorite Things was the inspiration for this week's card.
The challenge over at Addicted to CAS is: stitched
and it's a colour challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches.
I matched the colors as best as possible with my Spectrum Noir markers and I only used one color per monster with a little black palette blending for the shadows.
The monsters are from Lawn Fawn (monster mash) I stamped them with Memento tuxedo black ink on Neenah solar white paper and used IB3, GB7 and CG4 for my colors.
Used matching dies to cut them out.
Made the panel with the stitched windows slightly smaller and diecut the windows out, I left them together for now.
Stamped the sentiment also from Lawn Fawn, also with Memento tuxedo black and mounted the panel with foam tape to the card base.
Tucked in the monsters, mounted parts of them also with foamtape.
I'm sorry the photo is a bit dark, the monster match better in real life, will try tomorrow without flash, it's 1 am here now so needed the flash ;-)
Your stitched peekaboo windows are perfect for these adorable critters, Maaike! Beautiful CAS design and coloring, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at Addicted to CAS!
