Paper votive, papieren windlicht, met video

For today's project I made a votive out of a sturdy cardstock.
I gave it green tones with a variety of Distress Oxide inks and Versamagic.
As my base I used a Marianne design paper from the pretty papers bloc.

Then I diecut the little bird twice , once from the front and to make it look the other way, once from the back.

Lined the inside of the votive with vellum, making sure the glue is in every little corner, so when you  "fold" the paper round it won't stick out.
Then I secure the votive with glue and a pretty washi tape.
Make sure your paper is the right size to go through your diecutting machine.
Materials used/ Gebruikte materialen:
Marianne Design/Karin Joan Col1443
Marianne Design pretty papers bloc PK9149
Distress oxides and Versamagic inks
Washi tape
