I chose a bokeh effect for my card. For it I applied Distress inks through a mask and then White Lawn Fawn Ink through the dotted circle stencil from Simon Says Stamp.
I had this fairy from Joy! Crafts in my ready coloured stash so I used her as my image. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things' Bitty Birthday Wishes. I might cover it with a banner as I had reinked my Versafine and it stamped a bit "bold"...we'll see how I feel tomorrow ;-)

And I also like to enter it to the AAA Birthday Challenges, for their dots and or stripes challenge.
Wat een mooie kaart. Ik vond het deze keer best lastig. Nu maar hopen dat de mijne toch goed is. Groetjes en fijne paasdagen, Ankie

One of the most gorgeous uses of colour and bokeh I've seen. Love it Maaike! Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!
ReplyDeleteSmashing make and loving your "fuzzy" background

Gorgeous example of the bokeh effect technique Maaike! Your little fairy is a perfect addition as it looks like she is sprinkling fairy dust onto the bokeh circle. Beautiful card. Thank you so much for sharing it with us at Less is More xx
