To suit the Cas Colours & Sketches Challenge, sketch I diecut a pair of circles from the cardpanel and then handcut the knot thingies, not sure if they have a name, but bottom things ;-)
I lined the panel with a bright blue and bright red piece of card and adhered it all to the cardpanel.
I tried mounting the panel with foam, but as there's little room you would have been able to see the edges and that's not good.
Three dots of glossy accents and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp (birthday Balloons)
This was my second version, the first i made with a Simon Says Stamp stencil (dotted circles) and I inked through it with Ranger Dye inks (raspberry sorbet and lavender field), concentrating the color in the middle, fading out to the sides so the curve from the sketch would show.
I used the curved sentiment from the same Birthday Balloons set, but I messed up the stamping and I thought it was too empty, I like CAS but this wasn't it ;-) ( I leaned it up to this card for the photo, as it's still only a panel, with an empty back )

I am so happy that the sketch inspired you to make not one but two lovely CAS cards. I think the use of the balloons as the curves is ingenious. Thanks for playing along at CC&SReplyDelete
