The theme over at Less is More this week , is sea and one layer.
The stamps from Kars prompted this scene, the little girl's dress was torn and I though her "friend" the goose could be doing that...some friend! I'm not sure why there are two geese in this beachy stamspet, but hey I went with it ;-)
I made a card from Schut hot pressed and smooth watercoloring paper and measured the places to stamp.
I started by placing the stamps on the cardfront, so they'd fit (just) and traced around the goose stamp, then stamped it with StazOn and placed the girl just so it would look like the goose is picking her dress, added the starfish and the sentiment, all in StazOn.
Then watercolored the scene with Distress inks (blueprint sketch, barn door, mustard seed and carved pumpkin, tattered rose, pumice stone, anitgue linen, tea dye and gathered twigs if I remember correctly). Thought about adding more blue for the sea, but that would be less CAS and so I hope my beachy scene still fits the challenge...
Simple one layer card for the Less is More Challenge.
