Time has been escaping me the last couple of weeks and I haven't participated in any CAS colours and Sketches challenges, I'm so sorry.
I'm actually finishing this card and blogpost at 1.30 am...middle of the night kinda thing, but it's all for a good cause hahaha.
I made these shavingfoam marbled backgrounds a while ago and thought they'de be fun for the circle in the corner.
I also diecut some from the leftover and made marbled balloons out of them to match.
The balloons are from Paper smooches and Simon Says stamp, so it the birthday circle die and the sentiment.
At first I didn't think I would put it on, but it's on the sketch, so I complied, chose the smallest though from the birthday balloons set as I wanted max white/empty space.
I used a fineliner to draw the balloon strings.
See how I made the marbled paper in my Video, it's so much messy fun!
Love your marbled papers and a great idea to use them for balloons - I always love balloons! So pleased you found time to link up with CC&S this week.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the shaving cream technique - the papers look terrific! The happy birthday die is really cool, too. It's great to see you join us again at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card with the marbled diecuts! Thank you for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteSorry, got behind with my commenting this last week, but thanks for taking the time to join in with our challenge at CC&S. I will be back on track this week! Stef x
