Less is More Challenge #240: green and gold

Less is More Challenge #240: green and gold.

For my card I used a Simon Says Stamp sentiment from Congratulations  stampset.
I heat embossed that with gold embossing powder.

Then I sponged Distress ink Cracked pistachio for my green  in  the corner, concentrating the most colour in the bottom and fading it out onto the card.
Then I moved the stencil slightly and with my pinky I applied Inka Gold from Viva Decor, trying hard not to go to the adjacent circle.
They could be confetti...
Infact I first made a similar card for the challenge, that ended up not so "less" so I remade it into this one above.
I liked the idea in my head, but the confetti stamp from the same SSS set is too busy or too small for repeat stamping on a CAS card and in my opinion anyway, it would look cool on any other card that isn't supposed to be CAS.
Added sequins onto this one as well to make it look like the 2d dots became 3d.
the gold confetti is gold heat embossed on vellum...anyway I rejected it lol.

  4. Two great cards but I was drawn in by the super CAS first one. Such a great confetti card and that white space is just scrummy!
    Thanks for sharing with us.

  6. You are so right Maaike, the first one has so much more impact because of the white space you left! It is the star of these two!
    Thanks so much
