Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Color inspiration with Stampendous
and  the Inkspirational challenge: glow

For my card I used the Stampendous stampset Changito in space. I used the purple, grey yellow and gold/honey colors for my background. The Distress inks were sponged onto watercolor paper, the fossilized amber and the wilted violet made a bit of a grey/brown color, but I still like it.

I splattered it with water and white picket fence Distress spray and gold ecoline from Talens. Usually I would use brushed pewter, but as one of the colors in the photo inspiration seems like a gold to me, probably more brown than gold, but I see gold lol.
I stamped the sentiment and some of the star elements from the same set onto vellum and heat embossed it in white.
The image was stamped on Neenah classic crest cardstock and colored with my SPectrum Noir markers.
Some Wink of stella on the rocket's window and stars.
