corrugated cardboard for Christmas trees

I'd like to enter this into the
Less is More Challenge #247
and the CAS Colours & Sketches #147

For my card I used silver and gold corrugates cardboard in different directions, so one horizontal and one has the  stripes going vertical, for interest.
for the sentiment I cut a strip of vellum and sponged it with Distress inks (mowed lawn and bundled sage) I've heat emboseed the sentiment with white. The sentiment is from Stampies kerst 11

I thought about adding some green glitter washi tape to secure the vellum, but it seems it doesn't need it, after all less is more ;-)
