Less is more challenge #244 jewel colours and Virginia's view challenge #19 colour it
And Simon Says Stamp wcmd
Got my prize in from the Ton blog hop and I just had to use it straight away. Just had to ;-)
It's so darn cute.
I had to combine a few stampsets though as I wanted a Christmas card and the Ton stampset didn't have a matching sentiment.
the stars on a string I coloured in, what I think, are jewel colours, emerald, ruby, and I don't know the English for the other colours...sorry
I coloured my image with Distress inks (mowed lawn, broken china, festive berries, barn door, a mix of mustard seed and squeezed lemonade, and ripe persimmon for the jewels and aged mahogany and anitque linen for the foxes, weathered wood for the shadows on the snowbanks.
Those I drew in with a sharpie, the stamps were stamped with StazOn.
As I cut up a big sheet of watercolour paper I get these panels, that are slightly narrower than my cardbase, so I used some striped washi tape on the side, nice and modern I think.
this card is for a friend of mine, her last name is Fox in Dutch, so I thought it would be funny, she might get a carload of foxes though hmm...
anyway hope you like it!
