CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #145
CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #145.
I deleted my other entry, it's still here on the blog as people left me nice comments and I like that they took the trouble to come over. But I looked and looked at it and I just didn't like it anymore.
So I made a new card. I'm really happy with this one!
Instead of that dreadful floss or twine or thread I had I made a circle with splatters.
And for my "tags" I used two feathers from Simon Says Stamp exclusive feathers die, the sentiment is also from them and it's called small hello.
lilac, purple and glod glitter paper.
gold ecoline ( a liquid watercolor) Distress brushed pewter and metallic purple for the splatters.

Stunning! Loving this gorgeous very CAS version of the sketch. Thanks for playing at CC&S.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning card, love the sparkle and it's a great interpretation of the sketch.

The first card wasn't bad, but I agree that this one is better. Then again, I'm a little partial to purple and gold because those are my alma mater university's colors. ;) I do love the shimmer on this card. Thanks for joining us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card! Love the colour combination.
ReplyDeleteI love your different interpretation of the sketch at CC&S. Good idea to use a splatter circle in the background. Missed the first card so will go and have a look. Thanks for joining us. Stef x
