Scuba diving bear

Hi, this week I'm using a digi from  Whimsy Stamps' the Meijens Digital Collection Scuba bear.
I made it into a shaker with a round window, like a porthole but still Clean And Simple.

I started by printing the image on watercolor paper that still fits y laser printer, then painted it with Talens Liquid watercolors.m Had the scan n Cut do the cutting, it chopped off the swirly bits, but I prefer it like this anyway as you wouldn't see much of the sea behind him otherwise.

I cut a "porthole" from a card panel and traced the opening onto another panel.

This so I know where to apply Distress inks and use this panel as a lid for my shaker.

I've used Distress inks: Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Uncharted Mariner and splattered water for bubbles.

For the sentiment i've used the Whimsy Simple Sentiment strips (clear stamps) and Versafine ink to stamp it.

To build up the shakercard I added a sheet of acetate for the window with taperunner and the shaker portion with two layers of foamtape around the porthole.

The bear I mounted with one layer of the same foamtape so the fishes and confetti could move behind the bear, some got squished between the bear and window, but I'm hopefull that, once the static diminishes, they'll start to move.

You can find the digi in the Whimsy store here.
