AAA Cards Challenge #128: on the Move
Our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and you could win a stampset if you play along.
I had some troubles with my card. On the move, could be moving house, moving up in your job, taking a trip and such, all things I don't seem to have stamps for.
In the end I chose three stampsets: Art Impressions Panda Slider for the plane, Stampendous Tweet Chirps for the sentiment and Craft Sensations for the lighthouse.
I stamped the plane onto Crafter's Companion Neenah paper, colored him with Spectrum Illustrator markers and used the matching die to cut him out.
He's taking a trip around the world, it was his dream, hence the sentiment...does it all make sense? It does in my head hehe. The sentiment I stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
Mounted the panda with foamtape and adhered him to the cardbase.
For more information, more DT examples and or to play along the AAA Cards Challenge, see this.
Since making this card our Sponsor Happy Little Stampers sent all the DT two stampsets, so I made a card using their "wish you were here" and "mix mash".
I inkblended Distress inks on the top of the card (festive berries, ripe persimmon and mustard seed) then stamped the London silhouette (from wish you were here) on top with Versafine Clair (nocturn). same ink for the sentiment( from mix mash).
I had also stamped the double decker bus and wanted to mount it on the line, but I really didn't want to cover the gorgeous skyline.

Two beauties Maaike. Love the cuteness of the first image and the wonderful sentiment quote. Fabulous ink blending on the second, such vibrancy and depth of colour.ReplyDelete
It is so fun to see where a challenge takes us. I love how you combined all three of the stamp sets to signify on the move. Beautiful coloring too. Gorgeous sky on your second card. =) TracieReplyDelete
Aww love your first card - so cute! And I love how you used the London skyline stamp on the second card - the addition of the bus is perfect - I was trying to use it in some way on my card and I couldn't make it work!ReplyDelete
Beautiful cards, Maiike! I love how cute the first one is and the colors in your second are absolutely stunning :)ReplyDelete
