This challenge had me stumped for months as I didn't know what to do. Embossing could be dry embossing, tried it, didn't like it, making use of a scoring board..meh, embossing paste? also meh, a whole background embossed? meh, my CAS heart didn't like much.
So after thinking on it I came up with this heat embossed ombre falling snow card as it's Winter, I thought it made sense.
I've pulled out an array of Wow Embossing powders that are translucent and a super fine silver one from Paper Mania, of course Wow has silver too.
I've also rummaged through y snowflake stampsets and there's
usually one or two tucked into winter or Christmas sets as well...use what you have is what I say all the time, could be dots as in confetti, balloons as it's a birthday Card challenge, stars, hearts, anything I suppose.
I stamped my images with Wow embossig ink, and sprinkled on the powders, one by one, shifting the stamps where needed.
The sentiment is from Simple Sentiment Strips rom Whimsy Stamps.
Mounted the panel with Foam tape as it warped a little from the heat.
We look forward to your makes, you can enter them here:
Perfect chilly card for a winter birthday and it keeps your CAS heart happy too!
