And the sentiment for the outside is from Riley and company (RWD551). On the inside I think you can stamp anything, happy father's day p.e. I chose Happy birthday from a Simon Says Stamp set (birthday balloons).
I stamped the inside of the card first with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat set it.
I then stamped the sentiment for the outside on Crafter's Companion Neenah paper also with Versafine onyx black ink.
I looked up some beer mug photos on how to color them and chose an image from Stock photo as my inspiration.
Can't find it anymore though.... I wanted to include it here...
I've never colored shiny glass so I stayed away from those, might need to practice first off camera. if you want some easy shine, consider covering the image with glossy accents, I didn't as I thought the foam was shiny/glittery enough for a man card.
I used my Spectrum Noir markers (IB1, GB1,gb4 andGB7).
For the foam I drew a foamy top with a Versamarker and first added Wow! Cocount ice, it's translucent and I thought it would look nice if the glass rims still peeked through, but it didn't so I went over the embossed ares again with the Versamarker and then added Sparkling snow on top, also from Wow!
Adhered the panel to the cardbase with taperunner.
It's a really simple card, and for me the sentiment was the important bit, the glass is just there to reinforce the joke. I'm sure you can make it much more realistic than mine ;-)
Perfect! I love that sentiment! Your cards are fabulous, my friend.
