AAA Cards Challenge #120: Somewhere over the rainbow

This fortnight the challenge is: somewhere over the rainbow.
Our sponsor is Stamplorations.

For my cardbase I masked off the bottom and inkblended Distress inks with mini blending tools (candied apple, spiced marmalade, mustard seed, twisted citron, mowed lawn, mermaid lagoon, wilted violet and picked raspberry. I kind of eyeballed  how wide the colors needed to be to fill the whole bottom, so they're not all the same.
For my image and sentiment I used the Gerda Steiner Moody Unicorns set and I stamped the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink and the unicorn with Simon Says Stamp intense black ink on the Crafter's Companion Marker paper and I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers.

I mounted the unicorn with some foam tape and adhered him onto the cardbase.

  1. Wonderful grumpy unicorn Maaike! Love his rainbow mane and the inked across strip. Great sentiment choice for him too.
