Regenboog Gefeliciteerd

Today's card is one inspired by a pin from Jennifer McGuire with my own supplies, so the outcome is much different of course.

I started with diecutting the shadow/outline die for Gefeliciteerd from a rainbow of cardpanels and the line die also from black with Stick it on the back.
Then I glued the bottom layer (purple) onto a white cardpanel,so this would help me align the thin word. I used the dies themselves to guide me.
And then I just glued the other colors on top.
I tried to align the panels when diecutting by using the previous color as a guide, but there are always small differences, so I just looked at how they stacked and after that I neated it all up by tracing a pencil line, cutting it with scissors, it's a very thick pack by now and then using a nail file to neaten it up further.

Glued the now smaller panel onto a cardbase on an angle, so if it's not perfectly straight, you won't notice as much ;-)

Deze kaart was geinspireerd op een pin van Jennifer McGuire, maar dan gemaakt met mijn spullen/vooraad.
Ik ben begonnen door een regenboog aan karton (op kaart formaat) door de Bigshot te halen met de schaduw stans. Ik gebruikte steeds de vorige kleur om de stans weer op dezelfde plek te krijgen. Maar er blijven altijd kleine verschillen en dat kun je het beste later  "opruimen". Ik heb ook het woord Gefeliciteerd van zwart karton gestanst waarop de achterkant Stick it zat, zodat het een sticker werd. Ik heb nog een stuk karton op kaart formaat gesneden en de onderste laag (paars) gebruikt, samen met de stansen om het woord Gefeliciteerd op de juiste plek te plaatsen en ook al die haken en ogen rondom het woord.

Daarna heb ik gewoon alle kleuren gestapeld en daarna heb ik met een liniaal en rechte lijn getrokken en de stapel bijgeknipt met een schaar, want nu is het echt te dik voor de stansmachine en waar nodig met een nagelvijl netjes gemaakt.. Ik heb de stapel onder een hoek op de kaart geplakt, zodat eventuele schoonheids foutjes minder opvallen, recht knippen is niet mijn forte ;-)
