This fortnight the Less is More Challenge is: ONE layer and stripes.
For my card I used an old Hero Arts set ( Deer 4x6)and I stamped him first with Versamark ink on the cardbase. Then I used Wow! Embossing powder pale rich gold and heat set it.
I then placed a circular mask on top and stamped the stripes with Memento Lady bug ink.
Because of the mask it didn't stamp 100% around the edges, but I like the distressed look, so I left it.
Tried to wipe the red ink off the gold (emboss resist) bit I forgot the openings, so the white stripes went a little pink...but hey...it;s all good.

Wat een gaaf idee! Mooi hoe je de strepen in een cirkel gebruikt hebt! Fijn weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the bold stripes as a background to your focal image

Love this idea! The card is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI really love the distressed look that you "accidentally" created, it makes this card really unique and adds a lot of interest to this CAS design. Beautiful heat embossing. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
