There's a new challenge over at the Less is More Blog: Outdoor.
I made my card with the Katzelkraft Les Pingouins and a sentiment from Impronte D'Autore from a set that has a Yeti with coffee too, but somehow I thought the Penguins were easier...they weren't ;-) Happy Yeti set would have been better, I couldn't get it to stamp nicely as the set is new to me. Same with the penguins to be honest I think it's my inkpad I thought oh I'll color the little beaks and details and then restamp with Versafine to get a nice black penguin....I had 6 image in my stampingtool and sadly the paper moved a tiny bit and this was the only image that was still OK .
Do inkpads get greasy from the stamps, feels like they transfer something? I don't know just wondering if refilling sometimes is useless if the linnen is messed up.
for the background I inkblended Distress inks, I meant these for my Christmas cards, but too much work, my shoulders were aching after one, so..nope, but handy for this card of course. I;ve used: Faded Jeans, Prize Ribbon and Salty Ocean.
Then Splattered with water, white paint, silver watercolor and Liquid Stardust from Lawn Fawn, let it dry and stamped the sentiment underneath.
Mounted the penguin with foamtape and adhered him on top pf the cardbase, I've used the white as a snowbank.
